The Dock in Lake Providence

This place is amazing! The food is fresh and delicious, cooked to perfection and such wonderful flavors. It's definitely our treat to visit each time we're in town. The views of the Lake are lovely and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. Love this place!

Quaint, clean, relaxing- fair prices for quality food.

My boyfriend eats a lot of crawfish and when I say this is the first time he had nothing bad to say it was amazing and the staff was so polite and sweet we will be stopping in again for sure

Not at all what we expected. It seems like a Subway when you first walk in. Or a makeshift convenient store. In the back it's a restaurant that is not handicap accessible. To order you go up to the sandwich counter and stare up at the sandwich menu but order from the dock menu. The food is so so. On the way out we saw a sign for hibachi grilled food for the same place we were in... Seems they can't figure out what they do. View was beautiful but the dock is not safe.

Drove back and forth past this place for years....... When I finally stopped in and gave it a try, I was quite impressed !Good food, and friendly personable staff ! Did I mention good food ??

The dock is a bit pricey but they have some delicious food like the shrimp orleans!

Still some of the best seafood I've had in the area. I keep going back for more!

It's on the lake. You can see it from where you eat or you can eat on the patio deck. The people are very nice that work there and the food is delicious. Friday is steak night.

Great food and beautiful lake view

The dock has a great atmosphere and a good selection of food. They offer specials and crawfish during season. They have both outdoor and indoor sitting that overlooks the lake. The food is a bit pricy, but overall it's a great choice!

Service was good and the Jambalaya was great! I took a picture of the "flat fish"- it was a great choice for 2 kids to split. The aquarium was a huge hit for our traveling kids and very well kept. Includes an eel, sea anemones (or the like) shrimp and tropical fish!You could choose to eat inside or on the dock and go home with a handcrafted piece of decor or utensil from the Wood Doc 👍

Long wait good food

Food and service was good. Lovely outdoor seating, perfect for eating with dogs. Relaxing atmosphere and view.

Stop here for a early dinner. Food and service was really good. If I am in the area again I would definitely stop here again.

We love their pile of 12 catfish with fries or onionrings.Enough for two people ,Awesome! !!!!

We stopped on our way home from beach trip, it was great food. Sat outside on the deck, beautiful lake view.

Food here is great, scenery is awesome great place to sit down and have a great cajun meal. You can dine indoors or on the dock. The dock has a great view of the lake. If your ever in the area for a fishing trip or just a boat ride the restaurant is also accessible from the lake.

Great fried catfish and the spinach artichoke dip was yummy! It was a bit chilly to dine outside but had plenty of seating if you wanted to. The staff was friendly and thanked us for coming in when we left. :))

Only a 1 because that's the only way to leave a comment. I have traveled through here twice about a month apart and both times the have "cash only" on the door. It's 2019 not very many people carry cash all the time, there's 100s of back up ways if the "machine" is down. All I can say is I'm not wasting my time to stop again. Sucks because it sounds/looks like a good place to eat.

Quaint little place, like a qick stop environment on the inside and we didn't go out to the dock area as it was hot outside. The lady that cooked the food knew what she was doing as it was delicious. The servers were very nice. The only thing I found wrong was the lemons in the container to use in yoir tea, had not been changed from the previous day.

Looks promising but frankly lacks the flavor you'd expect and over priced. If you like a favorable view over the water and don't mind paying more for disappointment, this is your place.

What a cool place , atmosphere is spot on , the 2 women behind the counter totally made the place as great as the food is . . . Will return !

Wonderful little local place with friendly staff! Highly recommend the Cajun Fried Rice with fried shrimp and sausage.

Folks are nice food is good. And feeding the fish is fun. Huge cats and carp at the dock.

Filthy in the seating area. Vermin droppings and spider webs are abundant! It's a shame because the setting on the lake is awesome. Must be due to poor management.

Great food friendly enviroment

Today was a burger. I ordered it rare on the Jalapenos bun. Love it when they cook to order as it was perfect. The onion rings were excellent as well. The staff was very friendly and answered questions from the other guys I was traveling with. Beautiful view if you go down to the lower section of the restaurant.

The food was great! We had the red beans and rice, shrimp po boy, shrimp basket, etouffee and beignets. If it is nice out you can eat on the dock.

Very good food, you can have it spicy or not. It's just a little place, but we'll worth the stop

The catfish was delicious. It was fresh, cooked perfectly, and seasoned moderately to keep the catfish taste. It was so good. I don’t know if the food was better than the view of the lake or whether the spectacular view was better. I do know both were unforgettable. Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, stop and get to this restaurant now.

Great place to stop and eat on your way to anywhere in Louisiana don't forget to feed the fish at the dock Outback and take a daiquiri with you

Authentic southern experience.

Great food and great views you really can't beat it. The staff is always friendly with fast service. You can sit up front and watch the cars go by or sit in the back and see the lake or sit out on the deck and get some fresh air. The crawfish are the best I every had other than my own. My son got the catfish basket and it was great. The smoked sausage they put in the crawfish is phenomenal. The sweet tea is just right and don't forget to get some pork rinds on the way out.

The steak was super. The staff was friendly! The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection!! Dont miss this authentic seafood restaurant on the water...

Good food, but super dirty. Surprised they've ever passed a health inspection.

The food was ok but the place needs some TLC. I can see the place being a lot of fun in the summer with windows open and eating on the deck. Just don't go in expecting a fancy restaurant vibe.
